The work of 400 kV D/C Muzaffarpur – Dhalkebar Transmission Line was awarded on March 4, 2014 with approved commissioning schedule of two years from the date of award. The Indo-Nepal transmission link was completed and declared commissioned on 19th February, 2016 within the approved schedule. The line was dedicated to the nations jointly by the Prime Ministers of India and Nepal on 20th February, 2016
The transmission line is operating with very healthy availability of about 99.98% till date. The month wise availability is as under;
